Anacron is the living, breathing personification of the pseudo culture called Hip Hop. A true modern renaissance artist, he is the master of many forms of expression. He is an accomplished and professionally trained instrumentalist, a composer, a songwriter, a music producer, and a disc jockey. His presence adds an intense yet inviting feel to any musical endeavor, whether his role is vocal or musical.
Born on the East coast, raised on the West coast, and having resided in the Midwest has had a grand effect on the development of Anacrons signature and recognizable styles of production and lyricism. From the original Peanut Gallery Network recordings to the West coast classic Netherworlds album, Anacron stands out; his participation and performance is always charismatic, thoughtful, and fitting. With a broad yet bluntly honest and clearly defined view of the world around him, he always leaves a lasting impression as a guest on any album. The Homie Dalek Killing It!!!!
Dalek seems to be making the rounds in this his second gallery appearance of 2009. Almost as soon as his work hit the mainstream his gallery appearances seemed to dwindle down to only a single show in 2008. We were pleased to see that not only is he back at it, he’s incorporated a vivid palate and intricate geometric style. His most recent pieces still recall hints of Murakami inspiration, but have transcended his Space Monkey character making the environment the prominent focus. This Parisian show has Dalek sharing the stage with Mike Giant, best known for his line drawings and signature tattoo style. The juxtaposition of the two diverse style makes for very interesting pairing.

MURAKAMI LOVED THE WORK SO MUCH HE SHIPPED IT TO JAPAN TO BE DISPLAYED IN ART EXHIBITION.
A Murakami billboard was put up on the Melrose strip, in a matter of a few days, the billboard was tagged by a graffiti artist. Murakami loved the work so much he shipped it to Japan to be displayed in an art exhibition.
